Seidel Planning got the call! Seidel Planning & Design represented a nationwide wireless service provider in New Jersey’s City of Camden to obtain approval for the installation of a wireless communications facility (WCF) on the roof of an existing tall structure within the City. Although the proposed WCF was listed as a ‘permitted use’ in the underlying zoning district, characteristics of the property conflicted with specific regulations of the City’s ordinance, rendering the use ‘prohibited’ on the subject property.  Expert witness testimony by the firm’s land use planner, Brian Seidel, NJPP, was provided to obtain approval of the required D1 use variance.
